help promote the 1912 Portland Rose Festival, Silas
Christofferson agreed to fly his Curtiss airplane from the
roof of the newly built Multnomah Hotel.
This program commemorates
both Christofferson's 1912 flight and the 1995 reenactment
sponsored by the Pearson Filed Historical flown by Tom
Murphy of Hood River, Oregon.
